The main components of Jameson Irish whiskey are barley, barley malt and the purest spring water. In Ireland, malt is dried in closed kilns, so the local whiskey does not have a smoky smell - it is distinguished by a light floral aroma. In addition, Irish whiskey is the only whiskey in the world that undergoes triple distillation, and therefore has a softer taste than its "brothers" from Scotland and America. The resulting whiskey is poured into oak barrels, where sherry has always been aged before.
